Custom-printed tiles are a new trend.

A new trend has appeared in the ever-changing world of tiles, seemingly out of nowhere yet completely understandable. As the world evolves and self-expression becomes increasingly central to who we are, it is no wonder that in the tile world, the demand for bespoke and one-of-a-kind pieces is at its highest.

Slowly yet surely, are disappearing, the days when buying property and making it your own meant sticking to tradition or looking at timeless classic pieces that would make the home easier to sell in the future. Younger generations aren’t looking for profit as much as their parents or grandparents. Instead, they look for expression, uniqueness, and a space to call their own well and truly. These trends usually involve leaving tradition in the past and looking forward to changing the appearance of our spaces.

Custom-printed tiles have also largely benefited from the rapid growth of the digital and creative world. New technologies have allowed us to print highly detailed images onto large tiled spaces without losing vibrancy or high-resolution detail.

Secondly, new technology has made tile murals faster and cheaper, so manufacturers don’t have to raise their prices to make a profit from these tiles.

So why wouldn’t we take the opportunity to save money while being unique?

Although we probably haven’t reached the most affordable and eco-friendly ways of developing and making unique tiles, technology will tell us the future, and we have made progress faster than ever before.

As home ownership becomes more common in the UK and on a larger scale, people look more towards finding the one true home to stay in for the rest of their lives, and they’re going all out on the customisation of it. Picking up your favourite colours for your bedroom walls or picking out furniture and décor to match your space is easy, but it is more difficult to customise a kitchen and bathroom.

The great thing about custom-printed tiles is that you don’t have to worry about the quality of the print. As we’ve mentioned before, the available technology has already taken care of that. All you need to worry about is the fun, creative side.

How will your image look with your current lights?
What feeling does it give out to others?
How would it look if you were to redecorate the room around it?
We could be sitting here forever, asking you more questions to consider, but you get the idea.
